An Ohio company has long been adding the industrial toxin melamine to animal feed ingredients, and those feeds have been consumed by livestock and fish meant for human consumption, according to the Food and Drug Administration…

The company, Tembec BTLSR of Toledo, sold the melamine-laden ingredients to Uniscope of Johnstown, Colo., which used them to make food products for cattle, sheep, goats, fish and shrimp.
